What action might the Gokhale Method take if I offer to teach after my right to teach has been suspended?
Gokhale_Method Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
Failure to attend and participate in such continuing training programs may result in suspension of your right to teach the Gokhale System until you have completed our required continuing training and you have been re-approved. If your right to teach has been suspended, and you nonetheless offer to teach, we may terminate this Agreement immediately upon notice to you.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, if your right to teach the Gokhale System has been suspended due to failure to attend and participate in required continuing training programs, and you still offer to teach, Gokhale Method may terminate the Franchise Agreement immediately upon notice.
Maintaining approval to teach the Approved Formats requires franchisees to attend additional courses, seminars, and other training programs that Gokhale Method may reasonably require. These requirements will be detailed in the then-current Teachers' Manual. Continuing training may include attendance at the Annual Meeting, participation in Teacher Webinars, peer review of teacher trainees, and involvement in Gokhale® Active.
This policy underscores the importance Gokhale Method places on maintaining quality and uniformity throughout the system. By requiring ongoing training and reserving the right to terminate the agreement for unauthorized teaching, Gokhale Method aims to protect its reputation and the value of its trademarks. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of these requirements and ensure they are prepared to meet the ongoing training obligations to avoid suspension or termination of their franchise agreement.
