What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is granted the right to teach the Gokhale System to individual students or groups of students solicited individually, referred to as "Consumer Students." However, the agreement does not grant the franchisee the right to teach other types of students. "Wholesale Groups" are defined as students with no prior affiliation aggregated together by a third party that is not the franchisee.

This means that a Gokhale Method franchisee's ability to teach the Gokhale System is limited to individual consumers and groups they personally solicit. They cannot teach groups organized by external entities. This restriction protects Gokhale Method's control over its training quality and standards, ensuring that the System is taught consistently and correctly.

For a prospective franchisee, this limitation is important to consider when developing a business plan and marketing strategy. Franchisees must focus on attracting individual students and building relationships to form their own groups, rather than relying on partnerships with external organizations to provide students. This also means that franchisees may need to invest more in direct marketing and community outreach to reach their target audience.
