What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain written authorization from Focus Cfo if they want to use any marketing materials, including email campaigns, that utilize the Focus CFO Marks or promote Focus CFO Services. This requirement ensures that all marketing efforts align with the brand's standards and image.

This stipulation means that a Focus Cfo franchisee cannot independently launch email campaigns without prior approval. The franchisee must submit their proposed email content to Focus Cfo for review and receive written authorization before deploying the campaign. This process allows Focus Cfo to maintain control over how its brand and services are presented to the public.

The need for written authorization extends beyond email campaigns to include any marketing materials and online presence. This requirement is in place to protect the Focus CFO brand and ensure consistent messaging across all franchise locations. Franchisees should factor in the time required for approval when planning their marketing activities.

Focus Cfo also has a social media policy that all franchisees must follow, and any online content violating this policy must be removed within 24 hours of Focus CFO's request. Franchisees must also obtain prior written approval to create any social networking account using the Focus CFO Marks or promoting the Focus CFO Services other than their personal accounts, including social networking accounts with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
