What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $35,000 is generally nonrefundable. However, there is one specific circumstance under which a refund is possible.
The Focus Cfo franchise agreement can be terminated if the background check of the franchisee is unsatisfactory. If Focus Cfo terminates the agreement for this reason, the entire franchise fee will be refunded to the franchisee.
Outside of a failed background check leading to termination by Focus Cfo, the FDD states clearly that the franchise fee is nonrefundable. This means that if a franchisee changes their mind, is unable to secure funding, or any other reason besides a failed background check, the $35,000 fee will not be returned.
