What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, the training program is designed to help franchisees develop and operate their business, while protecting the Focus Cfo brand and marks. However, the training program does not advise franchisees on how to perform CFO services or their day-to-day operations.

The initial training program involves completing required sections of the Playbook online. Franchisees must also attend the Focus CFO Mastery Program, consisting of six 90-minute virtual sessions held twice a month, and one in-person Climb the Mountain® Workshop offered at least twice a year. Franchisees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, food, and other out-of-pocket expenses for the workshop.

In addition to the initial training, Focus Cfo franchisees are required to attend Tuesday Night Training and Best Practices Sessions during their first year, as well as complete online cybersecurity training. They must also participate in an 11-month Sandler Sales Training program through The Ruby Group, with Focus Cfo covering the cost. Franchisees may incur travel, lodging, and food expenses for the Bootcamp portion of this training.

While Focus Cfo provides extensive training on business development, marketing, and operational best practices, it's important to note that the training specifically excludes instruction on performing CFO services. Prospective franchisees should, therefore, possess the necessary financial expertise or plan to hire qualified staff to deliver these services.
