What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, Area Presidents have several key responsibilities. These include lead generation, recruiting CFOs within their designated territories (Home and any Secondary Territories), and developing a client base through networking and other business development activities, all while adhering to Focus CFO's core processes. Area Presidents must also maintain a 'Cookbook' that details their involvement in business development, group marketing, and client delivery, using the standard Focus CFO format outlined in the Playbook.
Further, Area Presidents are tasked with creating and managing an individual 'Area Plan,' which should include networking contacts and business organizations. They are responsible for maintaining regular communication with CFOs regarding the services provided to clients within their 'Book of Business.' This involves quarterly reviews of the client's 90-day plan with both the CFO and the client. Area Presidents also assist in identifying and interviewing potential CFOs for the Focus CFO client base and developing a CFO team to support group marketing activities.
In addition to these responsibilities, Area Presidents coordinate and lead approved marketing activities, potentially involving other Area Presidents and CFOs from their Home or Secondary Territories. Focus CFO retains the right to assign additional duties and responsibilities to Area Presidents as needed. It is important to note that Focus CFO can modify these responsibilities with 30 days' prior written notice. A prospective franchisee should consider the breadth of these responsibilities and the potential for changes when evaluating the Focus CFO franchise opportunity.
