What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training is mandatory for franchisees. Franchisees must complete the required sections of the Focus CFO Playbook within two weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement. This initial training program focuses on Focus CFO's standard business development process and client delivery best practices. Franchisees cannot participate in group marketing activities or meetings with potential clients until this initial training is completed to Focus CFO's satisfaction. The initial training program typically takes 20-30 hours to review.

In addition to the initial training, Focus Cfo requires franchisees to attend the Focus CFO Mastery Program, which consists of six 90-minute virtual sessions held twice a month. Furthermore, franchisees are required to complete online cybersecurity training provided by Focus CFO during their initial training, which should be completed within one week of receiving the training link.

Focus Cfo also requires franchisees to attend Tuesday Night Training and Best Practices Sessions during their first year, held virtually each month. Area Presidents must participate in an 11-month Sandler Sales Training program through The Ruby Group, which includes a Bootcamp and ongoing reinforcement training and coaching. Focus CFO covers the cost of this program up to the eleventh month, but franchisees are responsible for travel and lodging expenses.
