What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Focus Cfo reserves the right to require additional training and certification upon renewal of the franchise agreement. To renew the franchise, which has an initial term of 10 years, a franchisee must meet certain conditions.
These conditions include executing general releases, complying with all provisions of the Franchise Agreement, satisfying all Performance Standards, and not being in default of any agreements with Focus CFO. Additionally, Focus CFO has the right to require franchisees to sign a new Franchise Agreement with potentially materially different terms.
This new agreement may include additional training and certification requirements. A renewal fee of $2,500 is required to be paid to Focus CFO to renew the franchise. This means that a Focus Cfo franchisee may need to invest further time and money in training to meet new standards if they want to renew their franchise agreement.
