What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is granted a specific geographic region in which to operate. This region extends seventy-five (75) miles in radius from the franchisee's business address. However, the FDD specifies that Focus CFO's approval of a specific site within this territory is not required.
This means that while Focus Cfo grants a protected territory, the franchisee has flexibility in choosing the exact location of their business within that 75-mile radius. This can be advantageous, allowing the franchisee to select a location that best suits their business strategy and target market. However, it also means the franchisee bears the responsibility of finding and securing a suitable site without direct assistance from Focus Cfo.
It is important to note that Focus Cfo does not provide assistance in selecting an office, obtaining required permits, or handling any construction, remodeling, or decorating of the premises. Therefore, prospective franchisees should be prepared to manage these aspects of setting up their business independently within their designated territory.
