What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees gain access to the Playbook, which contains confidential and proprietary information, after signing the Franchise Agreement and paying the Franchise Fee. Specifically, Focus CFO commits to providing full access to the Playbook within two business days of both the Franchise Agreement being signed and the Franchise Fee being paid.
The Playbook is a critical resource for Focus Cfo franchisees, containing mandatory specifications, standards, procedures, and rules that they must adhere to. It also includes continually updated best practices and resource centers. Franchisees are required to complete the initial training program, which involves reviewing required sections of the Playbook, typically taking 20-30 hours. This initial training must be completed within two weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement.
Prior to signing the Franchise Agreement, prospective franchisees have the option to request a temporary password to access the Policies and Procedures section of the Playbook, provided they sign a non-disclosure agreement with Focus Cfo. This allows potential franchisees to review key operational guidelines before committing to the franchise. Access to the Playbook is also provided as continuing assistance during the operation of the franchised business.
