- Area Presidents are required to participate in a Sandler Sales Training program through our approved vendor, The Ruby Group. The required program includes a Bootcamp and a minimum of eleven (11) months of reinforcement training and coaching. Area Presidents are expected to begin this program within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. The program starts with a Bootcamp which is offered either in-person (a two-day back-toback session in Columbus, Ohio) or virtually (as 4 half-day sessions with two sessions held during each of two consecutive weeks) by The Ruby Group. After the completion of Bootcamp, the Area President will begin reinforcement training and coaching. Reinforcement training sessions are conducted virtually and include 90 minutes of virtual instruction held once a week. Coaching consists of individualized monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with an assigned Sandler coach. We will pay for the cost of this program up through the eleventh month of reinforcement training and coaching. Should an Area President elect to continue to participate in reinforcement training and coaching beyond the required minimum eleven (11) months, the Area President is responsible for 100% of the monthly costs for the duration of their participation.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, Area Presidents are required to participate in a Sandler Sales Training program that includes individualized monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with an assigned Sandler coach. This coaching is part of a broader program that includes a Bootcamp and a minimum of eleven months of reinforcement training. The reinforcement training sessions are conducted virtually for 90 minutes each week.
Focus Cfo covers the cost of this program up to the eleventh month of reinforcement training and coaching. If an Area President chooses to continue participating in the training and coaching beyond the initial eleven months, they will be responsible for 100% of the monthly costs. The current negotiated cost for the reinforcement training and coaching is $550 per month, in addition to any travel, lodging, food, and other out-of-pocket expenses, if applicable, for in-person events.
This required training and coaching is designed to enhance the Area President's skills and knowledge, particularly in sales, and to reinforce best practices introduced during the initial training. The ongoing coaching component ensures that Area Presidents receive personalized guidance and support to help them meet their responsibilities and performance standards. Focus Cfo also provides additional training resources that franchisees are strongly encouraged to utilize, and may even require additional training at the franchisee's own expense if performance standards are not met.
