What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Focus Cfo will provide franchisees with 30 days prior notice before modifying any hardware and software requirements, as well as any required IT services package.
This means that if Focus Cfo decides to change the minimum computer specifications, the software required to run the business, or the IT services package that franchisees must purchase, they will inform franchisees of these changes at least 30 days in advance. This advance notice allows franchisees time to prepare for the changes, whether it involves budgeting for new equipment or software, or adjusting to new IT service procedures.
The FDD also states that if a franchisee's business computer does not meet the minimum specifications, they will be required to purchase, lease, and/or license new or modified computer hardware and/or software. The estimated annual costs of maintaining, updating, or upgrading support to the required business computer system and software are between $1,500 and $3,000. Therefore, franchisees should factor in these potential costs and the 30-day notice period when planning their business operations and budget.
