We claim copyright protection for certain materials including, our Playbook, other training materials prepared by us, advertising and promotional materials, standard proposal and contract documents, professional services agreements and related materials that we produce. We have not registered any of these materials with the Copyright Office of the Library of Congress. These materials are proprietary and confidential and are our property. You may use them only as long as you are a franchisee and only as provided in the Franchise Agreement. We will have no liability or obligation to compensate you because of the discontinuation, modification or change of any item.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, Focus Cfo asserts copyright protection over specific materials. These include their Playbook, training materials, advertising and promotional content, standard proposal and contract documents, professional services agreements, and other related materials they produce. However, Focus Cfo has not registered these materials with the Copyright Office of the Library of Congress.
These copyrighted materials are considered proprietary and confidential and remain the property of Focus Cfo. Franchisees are granted the right to use these materials only while they are active franchisees and in accordance with the terms outlined in the Franchise Agreement. Focus Cfo retains the right to discontinue, modify, or change any of these items without incurring any liability or obligation to compensate the franchisee.
The FDD states that there are no current determinations from the United States Copyright Office or any court that would affect these materials. Additionally, there are no pending proceedings or agreements with third parties that would significantly limit a franchisee's use of these materials. Focus Cfo is also unaware of any infringing uses that could materially impact a franchisee's use of the materials and is not obligated by any agreement to protect or defend these copyrights.
