What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $35,000 is due upon signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee is paid as a lump sum directly to Focus CFO. Note 1 clarifies that the $35,000 franchise fee consists of a $17,000 payment to obtain the franchise and an $18,000 one-time training fee.
Focus Cfo does not offer financing for the initial franchise fee, and it cannot be paid in installments. This means that prospective franchisees must have the full amount available at the time of signing.
The FDD states that the franchise fee is generally non-refundable. However, there is one exception: if Focus Cfo terminates the Franchise Agreement due to an unsatisfactory background check, the franchise fee will be refunded in full. This condition provides some protection to the franchisee in the event that unforeseen issues arise during the background check process.
