What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have several responsibilities to uphold the Focus Cfo System. Franchisees must ensure that any support resources they hire follow the Focus Cfo System, and the franchisee can be held liable for any breaches caused by their support resources' failure to do so. Franchisees are required to complete the required sections of the Playbook within two weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement as part of their initial training. Franchisees must also review, become familiar with, and continually monitor all materials in the Focus Cfo Playbook, and strictly comply with any modifications, amendments, and revisions to it.
To protect the Focus Cfo brand, franchisees must obtain Focus Cfo's prior written approval before hiring any support resource in a public-facing role that utilizes the Focus Cfo Marks. Franchisees are also expected to work collaboratively with other Focus Cfo franchisees to help develop and support the Focus Cfo System and the Marks. Franchisees must use their best efforts to participate in any local or regional events sponsored by Focus Cfo or other franchisees to promote the Focus Cfo System or the Focus Cfo Marks.
Focus Cfo retains the right to assess a franchisee's compliance with the Franchise Agreement, the System, and the Playbook by reviewing activity reports, performance metrics, and conducting interviews. Franchisees are required to fully cooperate with Focus Cfo during any such assessment. If a franchisee's assessment is unsatisfactory, they may be required to attend additional training sessions at their own expense. Franchisees must also notify Focus Cfo if they become aware of any Focus Cfo Licensee performing CFO Services outside the scope of the Professional Services Agreement (PSA).
