What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at monthly local group meetings is not required. The FDD states that "All Franchisees are invited to attend monthly local group meetings which may either be inperson in their local market or virtual." These meetings are optional, as the document specifies that franchisees are "encouraged, but not required, to attend outside training to become a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA)."
Focus Cfo does require franchisees to attend other training sessions. New franchisees must attend the Focus CFO Mastery Program, which consists of six 90-minute virtual sessions held twice a month. Area Presidents must participate in a Sandler Sales Training program, including a Bootcamp and at least eleven months of reinforcement training and coaching. Franchisees are also required to attend Tuesday Night Training and Best Practices Sessions during their first year; these 60-minute sessions occur virtually on the second Tuesday of the month.
Focus Cfo also encourages franchisees to attend "All Hands Meetings," held twice per year, and Area Presidents are invited to attend "All AP" training and planning sessions, also held twice per year. Franchisees are responsible for their own travel expenses for all of these optional sessions. If a Focus Cfo franchisee fails phishing testing, they will be required to complete additional online cybersecurity training provided by Focus Cfo.
