What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at "All AP Sessions" is not required. The FDD states that all franchisees are invited to attend these sessions, but attendance is not mandatory. Franchisees who choose to attend are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses, if applicable. These sessions are specifically for Area Presidents.
Focus Cfo also offers other training opportunities. All franchisees are invited to attend "All Hands Meetings" held twice per year, with one virtual meeting in the spring and an in-person meeting in Columbus, Ohio, in the fall. Franchisees are also invited to attend monthly local group meetings, which may be in-person or virtual, and are responsible for their own travel expenses for these sessions.
In addition to optional training, Focus Cfo requires franchisees to attend and successfully complete certain training programs as outlined in Attachment C of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are also encouraged to attend other optional training opportunities recommended by Focus CFO, also detailed in Attachment C. Required training includes the Focus CFO Mastery Program, participation in a Sandler Sales Training program (for Area Presidents), and attendance at one Climb the Mountain® Workshop. Franchisees must also complete online cybersecurity training provided by Focus CFO during their initial training.
