We do not make any representation about a Franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. We also do not authorize our employees or representatives to make any such representations either orally or in writing. If you are purchasing an existing outlet, however, we may provide you with actual records of that outlet. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focus Cfo Franchise Disclosure Document, Focus Cfo does not make any representations about a franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. This means that Focus Cfo does not provide any specific data or projections regarding the potential revenue, expenses, or profits that a new franchisee might expect to achieve. They also do not provide data on how existing company-owned or franchised outlets have performed financially.
This lack of financial performance representations places a greater burden on the prospective franchisee to conduct their own due diligence and market research. It is standard practice for franchisors to provide some form of financial performance representation to potential franchisees. Without this information, it may be more difficult for a potential franchisee to assess the viability and potential profitability of a Focus Cfo franchise.
The FDD does state that if you are purchasing an existing outlet, Focus Cfo may provide you with the actual records of that outlet. Additionally, the document explicitly states that Focus Cfo does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. Any such information should be reported to Focus CFO's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this lack of financial performance data and engage in thorough independent research and consultation with financial advisors before making a decision. Contacting existing franchisees may provide some insight into the financial performance of their Focus CFO franchise.
