What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use an IT services package selected by Focus Cfo and provided by their approved IT vendor. Until the franchisee begins to earn compensation, Focus Cfo will cover the IT Services Fee. Once the franchisee starts earning compensation, they become responsible for the fee. The current IT Services Fee is $30 per pay. Focus Cfo retains the right to change the IT services and vendor periodically. The IT package provided by C-Forward includes an Office 365 license with access to Focus CFO e-mail, Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive, along with security monitoring and IT support services.
This means that a prospective Focus Cfo franchisee will not have to pay the IT services fee until they start generating income. This can be a significant benefit during the initial startup phase of the franchise when cash flow is often tight. However, it is important to note that the fee will become the franchisee's responsibility once they begin earning compensation, and the fee is paid per pay period.
It is also important to be aware that Focus Cfo can change the IT services and vendor at any time. This could potentially lead to changes in the services provided or the cost of the IT package. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective franchisees to stay informed about any changes to the IT services and vendor and to factor these potential changes into their financial planning.
Franchisees should also review Attachment G to the Franchise Agreement, as referenced in Item 6, for a complete description of the IT support services provided.
