What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training is conducted online. Specifically, the initial training consists of completing the required sections of Focus CFO's Playbook. Franchisees gain access to the Playbook within two business days of signing the Franchise Agreement and paying the franchise fee. The initial training program is mandatory and must be completed to Focus CFO's satisfaction within two weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement.

In addition to the initial online training, Focus CFO franchisees are required to attend the Focus CFO Mastery Program, which consists of six 90-minute virtual sessions held twice a month. Franchisees must also attend one Climb the Mountain® Workshop, an in-person event held at a location within the United States at least twice a year. Franchisees are also required to attend virtual Tuesday Night Training and Best Practices Sessions during their first year.

Focus CFO also provides or requires additional training programs. Franchisees must complete online cybersecurity training within one week of receiving the training link. They are also required to participate in an 11-month Sandler Sales Training program through The Ruby Group, which includes a Bootcamp (either in-person in Columbus, OH, or virtually) and weekly virtual reinforcement training and coaching. Franchisees are responsible for travel and lodging expenses for the Climb the Mountain® Workshop and the in-person Sandler Sales Training Bootcamp. The franchisor pays for the Sandler Sales Training program.

Overall, Focus CFO's training program includes a mix of online, virtual, and in-person sessions, covering various aspects of the business, from initial setup and operations to ongoing skill development and best practices. The initial training is online, offering flexibility, while the in-person sessions provide opportunities for networking and more intensive learning experiences.
