What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are compensated as independent contractors. Their payments are directly linked to the fees generated from CFO Services. These services are provided by both the franchisees themselves and the licensees working for the Focus CFO client base. This means a Focus Cfo franchisee's income is directly tied to their ability to generate revenue through CFO services and effectively manage relationships with both clients and licensees.
Focus Cfo encourages franchisees to actively use the marketing programs, tools, and training provided within the Focus CFO System. The purpose of this encouragement is to help franchisees quickly start marketing and developing their franchise, with the ultimate goal of adding more potential clients to the Focus CFO client base. This highlights the importance of a franchisee's proactive engagement in business development and marketing activities to maximize their earning potential.
It's important to note that Focus Cfo maintains some control over client relationships. All clients must be approved by Focus CFO to ensure their business practices and reputation align with Focus CFO's standards and the reputation of the Focus CFO Marks. However, Focus CFO is not involved in the day-to-day operations of the franchisees. This suggests that while franchisees have autonomy in their daily activities, Focus CFO retains the right to ensure quality and brand consistency across the client base.
