What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focus Cfo's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, you will gain access to the Focus Cfo Playbook relatively quickly after becoming a franchisee. Specifically, Focus Cfo states that you will receive full access to the Playbook within two business days of both signing the Franchise Agreement and paying the Franchise Fee. This Playbook contains the mandatory specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules that Focus Cfo periodically prescribes for franchisees, as well as continually updated best practice and resource centers.
This early access is important because the initial training program requires completion of sections within the Playbook. Focus Cfo requires that this initial training be completed within two weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement. Furthermore, franchisees cannot participate in group marketing activities or meetings with potential Focus Cfo clients until this initial training is complete. Therefore, prompt access to the Playbook is crucial for a new franchisee to begin operations and engage in business development activities.
Prior to signing the Franchise Agreement, Focus Cfo may grant prospective franchisees temporary access to the Policies and Procedures section of the Playbook, but only after signing a non-disclosure agreement. This allows potential franchisees to review key operational guidelines before committing to the franchise. This early access, coupled with the mandatory training and ongoing updates, ensures that Focus Cfo franchisees remain aligned with the brand's standards and best practices.
