Focalpoint_Coaching Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We will account for the Fund separately from our other funds and not use the Fund for its or our general operating expenses. However, we may use the Fund to pay the reasonable salaries and benefits of personnel who manage and administer the Fund, the Fund's other administrative costs, travel expenses of personnel while they are on Fund business, meeting costs, exposition and show costs, overhead relating to Fund business, and other expenses that we incur in activities reasonably related to administering or directing the Fund and its programs, including conducting market research; public relations; preparing advertising, promotion, and marketing materials; and collecting and accounting for Fund contributions.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Advertising and Development Fund can be used to cover meeting costs. The document specifies that Focalpoint Coaching may use the fund to pay for various expenses related to administering and directing the fund and its programs. These expenses include the salaries and benefits of personnel managing the fund, administrative costs, travel expenses for personnel on fund business, meeting costs, exposition and show costs, and overhead related to fund business.
This means that a portion of the mandatory contributions to the Advertising and Development Fund, which can total up to $150 per month plus an additional $150 per month for each associate, may be allocated to cover the costs of meetings related to the fund's activities. This could include meetings for planning advertising campaigns, reviewing marketing strategies, or other activities that benefit Focalpoint Coaching franchisees.
It is important to note that Focalpoint Coaching has sole control over how the funds are spent, and while the fund is intended to maximize recognition of the marks and patronage of Focalpoint Coaching Franchised Businesses, there is no guarantee that expenditures in any geographic area will be proportionate to contributions from that area. Franchisees should also be aware that Focalpoint Coaching does not have a fiduciary obligation to franchisees for administering the fund.
