What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Focalpoint Coaching or its Area Representative may inspect a franchisee's office to ensure compliance with the Franchise Agreement and System Standards. However, Focalpoint Coaching states that these inspections will not unreasonably interfere with the operation of the Franchised Business.
If the Focalpoint Coaching franchisee's office is located in a residence, Focalpoint Coaching will only conduct an inspection if the franchisee hosts clients at the office. This suggests that Focalpoint Coaching is primarily concerned with the professional appearance and conduct of business when clients are present, rather than imposing on the franchisee's personal space.
This policy provides some assurance to franchisees that inspections will be limited and reasonable, especially for home-based businesses. Franchisees should still be prepared to maintain a professional environment and adhere to System Standards, particularly if they meet clients at their office. Franchisees should confirm with Focalpoint Coaching how frequently inspections occur and what specific aspects of the business are assessed during these inspections.
