What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee hires or retains employees or independent contractors, called "Associates", to assist with providing services to clients, those Associates must be approved by Focalpoint Coaching and must complete the Focalpoint Coaching Associate training program before providing services to clients.
The franchisee is responsible for paying a training fee for the Associate training program, plus any applicable taxes, within five days of hiring or retaining an Associate. The franchisee is also responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by the Associates during the training.
Focalpoint Coaching may also require Associates to complete initial and ongoing training programs to the company's satisfaction. The FDD does not specify the content, duration, or location of the Associate training program, but it does state that Focalpoint Coaching will provide the training program for Associates at a designated training facility of Focalpoint Coaching's choice.
