What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Focalpoint Coaching may require associates and non-coaching employees to complete initial and ongoing training programs. The franchisee may be charged a fee for this training.
The franchisee is responsible for all travel, living expenses, and wages incurred while the franchisee's associates, non-coaching employees, and other employees attend these training programs. This means that in addition to any fees Focalpoint Coaching charges for the training itself, the franchisee must also budget for the logistical costs of sending their personnel to the training.
This policy allows Focalpoint Coaching to ensure that all personnel associated with a franchise, regardless of their role, are properly trained in the Focalpoint Coaching system. This can help maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. However, it also represents a potentially significant expense for the franchisee, especially if they have a large number of non-coaching employees who require training.
