What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the technology fee is due when the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchisee must pay a lump sum of $3,000, plus any applicable taxes, at this time. This payment is considered the first payment of the annual Technology Fee.

The Technology Fee contributes to Focalpoint Coaching's costs related to the creation, maintenance, and ongoing development of the intranet site and other technology used for the Franchise System. In addition to the initial fee, a franchisee must also pay an additional Technology Fee for each Associate they retain or hire.

However, if a franchisee operates a Focalpoint Coaching business under an Area Representative Agreement, they will sign an AR Addendum with the Franchise Agreement. This addendum waives the obligation to pay the Technology Fee until the Area Representative Agreement terminates or expires. The technology fee is uniform to all franchisees currently purchasing a franchise, and it is not refundable under any circumstances.
