What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, System Standards are defined as the mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules that Focalpoint Coaching periodically requires. These standards are detailed in the Operations Manual, which Focalpoint Coaching may modify periodically to reflect changes.
As a Focalpoint Coaching franchisee, you are required to adhere to these System Standards in the operation of your franchise. These standards cover various aspects of the business, including standards, specifications, and operating procedures and methods that FocalPoint Franchised Businesses use; purchasing required and authorized Operating Assets, Proprietary Products, and other items and arranging for their distribution to you; advertising and marketing materials and programs; employee training; and administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures.
Focalpoint Coaching will advise franchisees regarding the Franchised Business' operation based on their reports or the franchisor's inspections. The franchisor will guide franchisees in the Operations Manual, bulletins, or other written materials; by electronic media; by telephone consultation; and/or at their office or the franchisee's Office. The franchisor also retains the right to modify these System Standards, potentially requiring additional capital investment or higher operating costs for the franchisee. Franchisees should stay informed of any changes to the Operations Manual and System Standards to ensure compliance and maintain the quality and consistency of the Focalpoint Coaching brand.
