Does Focalpoint Coaching require attendance at an annual national meeting?

You (or your managing owner), your Business Manager and/or other previously trained and experienced employees must attend and complete to our satisfaction various training courses that we periodically provide either online or in-person at the times and locations we designate. Besides attending these courses, we may require you to attend an annual national meeting of all FocalPoint Franchised Business franchise owners at a location we designate, and an annual regional meeting of FocalPoint Franchised Business franchise owners at a location we designate. We will not require in-person attendance at the annual meetings for more than 5 days during any calendar year. (See Item 6) You are responsible for all related travel and living expenses and wages incurred in connection with attending these courses and meetings.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at an annual national meeting is required. The franchisee, managing owner, business manager, or other trained and experienced employees must attend various training courses that Focalpoint Coaching periodically provides either online or in-person.
In addition to these courses, Focalpoint Coaching may also require attendance at an annual national meeting and an annual regional meeting. These meetings will be held at locations designated by Focalpoint Coaching. The FDD specifies that in-person attendance at the annual meetings will not exceed 5 days during any calendar year.
The franchisee is responsible for all travel, living expenses, and wages incurred while attending these courses and meetings. This includes costs for the franchisee, their business manager, and any other employees who attend.
