What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee chooses to locate their office in a non-residential location, Focalpoint Coaching will provide mandatory and suggested specifications and layouts for the office. These specifications include requirements for dimensions, design, image, interior layout, decor, fixtures, equipment, signs, furnishings, and color scheme.
Additionally, if the Focalpoint Coaching office is in a non-residential location, the franchisor will prescribe certain provisions that must be included in the office's lease. The site location must meet Focalpoint Coaching's criteria for demographic characteristics, parking, character of neighborhood, competition, proximity to other businesses, size, appearance, and other physical and commercial characteristics.
Focalpoint Coaching may offer assistance in designating the location of the office, but they will not conduct site selection activities for the franchisee. If an office location has not been approved in writing by Focalpoint Coaching within 60 days of the Franchise Agreement's effective date, the franchisee must locate an acceptable office and obtain written approval. Failure to agree on an acceptable site or open the office within this timeframe may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
