When is the initial franchise fee for Focalpoint Coaching considered fully earned?

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fees are considered fully earned when paid. The standard initial franchise fee is $45,000, plus any applicable taxes, and is paid in a lump sum when the Franchise Agreement is signed. This fee is generally non-refundable. However, if the franchisee's business is located in the territory of an Area Representative, Focalpoint Coaching will pay a portion of the initial franchise fee to the Area Representative. During 2024, franchisees paid initial franchise fees ranging from $40,500 to $45,000.

Eligible veterans of the United States military forces may qualify for a reduced initial franchise fee of $40,500, which is a 10% reduction of the standard $45,000 fee. To qualify, veterans must provide adequate documentation of their honorable discharge and own at least 50% of the franchisee entity.

It is important to note that initial franchise fees under Franchise Agreements are fully earned when paid and are not refundable under any circumstances, except as provided below. Focalpoint Coaching uses the initial franchise fee to help the franchisee develop and open their Franchised Business. Except as noted above for Area Representatives, the initial franchise fee is uniform as to all franchisees currently purchasing a franchise for a FocalPoint Franchised Business.
