When must a Focalpoint Coaching franchisee provide copies of executed Nondisclosure and Non-Competition Agreements?

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must provide copies of all executed Nondisclosure and Non-Competition Agreements to Focalpoint Coaching no later than 10 days following their execution. This requirement applies to agreements signed by specific individuals associated with the franchise. These individuals include the Business Manager, any supervisory or other employees and Associates who have received or will receive training from Focalpoint Coaching.

If the franchisee is an entity, the requirement extends to all officers, directors, shareholders, partners, members, and owners of the franchisee, as well as those of any entity directly or indirectly controlling the franchisee. These individuals must sign the agreement at the same time the Franchise Agreement is signed or when they assume their respective status. The franchisee, their owners, and their owners' spouses are also required to sign the agreement.

This requirement ensures that Focalpoint Coaching's confidential information and competitive advantages are protected. By mandating these agreements, Focalpoint Coaching aims to prevent unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information and restrict individuals associated with the franchise from engaging in competitive activities that could harm the Focalpoint Coaching brand.
