e or our affiliates provide during the franchise term.

Opening

We estimate that it will be 15 to 30 days after you sign the Franchise Agreement before you open and begin operating the Franchised Business. The specific timetable for opening and operating the Franchised Business depends on the Office location (whether it is in a residential or

non-residential location); the delivery schedule for equipment and supplies; completing training; and complying with local laws and regulations. You must notify us in writing at least 30 days before the day on which you propose to begin operating the Franchised Business. You may not open or begin operating the Franchised Business until: (1) we notify you in writing that the Franchised Business and the Office meet our standards and specifications; (2) you (or your managing owner) or your Business Manager complete initial training to our satisfaction; (3) you pay the initial franchise fee and other amounts then due to us; and (4) you give us certificates or other evidence we require for all insurance policies we may require. Subject to these conditions, you must open and operate the Franchised Business within 60 days after the Effective Date of the Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated timeframe to open and begin operating a franchise is between 15 to 30 days after signing the Franchise Agreement. However, several factors can influence this timeline. These include the location of the office, whether it is in a residential or non-residential area, which may affect zoning and permitting processes.

The delivery schedule for equipment and supplies also plays a role, as delays in receiving necessary items can push back the opening date. Completing the required training is another critical factor; franchisees (or their managing owner or business manager) must finish the initial training program to Focalpoint Coaching's satisfaction before commencing operations.

Compliance with local laws and regulations is also essential, as navigating legal requirements can sometimes be time-consuming. Franchisees must also provide Focalpoint Coaching with certificates or evidence of required insurance policies. Furthermore, Focalpoint Coaching must provide written notification that the Franchised Business and office meet their standards and specifications. The franchisee must also pay the initial franchise fee and any other outstanding amounts. Subject to meeting these conditions, the franchisee must open the Focalpoint Coaching Franchised Business within 60 days of the Franchise Agreement's effective date.
