Computer System
You must obtain and use in your Franchised Business a desktop or laptop computer system containing the computer hardware and/or operating software we may specify (the "Computer System"). (See Items 7 and 8 above) You will need a Computer System for each Associate you hire or retain to assist you with the provision of the Services to your clients. You may obtain the Computer System from any vendor so long as the Computer System meets our specifications. We estimate that your purchase of the Computer System will cost between $500 and $5,000. The types of data to be generated or stored in the Computer System include sales and client information. You will be solely responsible for the acquisition, operation, maintenance, and upgrading of the Computer System. You must also license the CRM system and application service systems from our designated supplier, currently, HubSpot, for management and support services. You must pay us a CRM system set up fee in the amount of $1,000, plus any applicable taxes, when you sign the Franchise Agreement and an ongoing monthly license fee in the amount of $75 per person. You will need to pay the CRM system set up fee and the ongoing monthly license fee for each Associate you hire or retain. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to obtain a computer system for their business. This system must include the hardware and operating software specified by Focalpoint Coaching. The estimated cost for purchasing this computer system ranges from $500 to $5,000. Each associate hired by the franchisee to assist with services will also require a computer system.
In addition to the computer system, Focalpoint Coaching franchisees must license a CRM system and application service from HubSpot, the designated supplier. This involves a $1,000 CRM system set up fee, plus taxes, payable upon signing the Franchise Agreement. There is also an ongoing monthly license fee of $75 per person, which applies to each associate the franchisee hires or retains. The franchisee is responsible for the acquisition, operation, maintenance, and upgrades of the computer system. While a maintenance contract is not currently required, Focalpoint Coaching reserves the right to mandate one in the future. Focalpoint Coaching also reserves the right to change the computer system at any time, and the franchisee is responsible for these costs.
