What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focalpoint Coaching Franchise Disclosure Document, Focalpoint Coaching will designate a territory for your franchised business. This is done before you open and begin operating the franchised business.
This means that as a franchisee, you will be assigned a specific geographic area or market where you will have the right to operate your Focalpoint Coaching business. This designated territory aims to provide you with a protected market, reducing direct competition from other Focalpoint Coaching franchisees. The Franchise Agreement Section 1.E confirms this designation.
Territory designation is a common practice in franchising, offering franchisees a degree of exclusivity and the opportunity to build a customer base within a defined area. However, the specific terms and conditions of the territory, such as its size, exclusivity, and any performance requirements to maintain it, are crucial aspects that a prospective franchisee should carefully review and discuss with Focalpoint Coaching.
