What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for their associates and business managers attending training. However, Focalpoint Coaching will cover the costs of supplied food and reasonable lodging expenses while the attendee participates in the initial training.

Specifically, the franchisee must pay an initial training fee of $16,950 per person for each associate or new business manager they hire or retain. In addition to this fee, the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses for these attendees. The same policy applies to non-coaching personnel, where the franchisee pays a $5,000 training fee per person and covers their travel and living expenses.

For additional training or assistance, which may cost up to $1,000 per person per day, the franchisee is also responsible for all related travel and living expenses. The exception to this rule is that Focalpoint Coaching will cover the costs of supplied food and reasonable lodging expenses for attendees to initial training for whom the initial training fee has been received. Franchisees are also responsible for all travel, living, and related expenses for attendees to the annual conference, in addition to the Conference Registration Fee, which can be up to $3,500 per person.
