What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement has an initial term of 7 years. If a franchisee is in full compliance with the agreement, they may be able to acquire one successor franchise term of 7 years. However, the successor franchise agreement will be on Focalpoint Coaching's then-current form, which may be materially different from the original agreement.

To renew the franchise, a Focalpoint Coaching franchisee must be in substantial compliance with the existing Franchise Agreement. They must also provide timely notice to Focalpoint Coaching of their intent to renew. Additionally, the franchisee must pay the renewal fee as specified by Focalpoint Coaching.

If the Focalpoint Coaching franchisee's office is in a non-residential location, they must maintain possession of the current office premises or find a substitute premises that is acceptable to Focalpoint Coaching. Furthermore, if the office is in a non-residential location, the franchisee must remodel the office to meet Focalpoint Coaching's then-current standards, regardless of the cost. Finally, the franchisee must sign Focalpoint Coaching's then-current Franchise Agreement, a release (if permitted by law), and any other documents that Focalpoint Coaching uses to grant franchises at the time of renewal.
