What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Focalpoint Coaching FDD, Focalpoint Coaching may charge a fee for training associates and non-coaching employees. Item 11 states that Focalpoint Coaching may require associates and non-coaching employees to complete initial and ongoing training programs.
In addition to potential training fees, the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses, as well as wages, incurred by themselves, their associates, non-coaching employees, and any other employees attending these training programs. This means that franchisees need to factor in these additional costs when budgeting for employee training.
Furthermore, the FDD specifies that franchisees must pay the then-current training fee (plus any applicable taxes) within 5 days of hiring or retaining an associate for the associate training program. This requirement highlights the importance of prompt payment and budgeting for ongoing training expenses as new associates join the team. Franchisees should confirm the current training fees with Focalpoint Coaching to accurately forecast these costs.
