What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Focalpoint Coaching's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor will prepare an annual unaudited statement of Fund collections and expenses and give the franchisee the statement upon written request. However, Focalpoint Coaching reserves the right to have the Fund audited annually, at the Fund's expense, by an independent certified public accountant, in its sole judgment.
This means that as a Focalpoint Coaching franchisee, you are entitled to receive an annual statement detailing the collections and expenses of the advertising fund, but this statement is typically unaudited. You must request this statement in writing from Focalpoint Coaching.
However, Focalpoint Coaching retains the discretion to conduct an audit of the fund each year, using an independent certified public accountant. If Focalpoint Coaching chooses to conduct an audit, the expense of the audit will be paid from the advertising fund itself, which could reduce the funds available for advertising and marketing activities. Whether or not the fund is audited is at the sole discretion of Focalpoint Coaching.
