  • (c) Business Plan Review. If requested by Franchisee, Fly To Fit Franchise shall review and advise on Franchisee's pre-opening business plan and financial projections. Franchisee acknowledges that Fly To Fit Franchise accepts no responsibility for the performance of the Business.
  • (d) Pre-Opening Training. Fly To Fit Franchise shall make available its standard preopening training to the Principal Executive and up to one additional team member, at Fly To Fit Franchise's headquarters and/or at a Fly To Fit business designated by Fly To Fit Franchise. Fly To Fit Franchise shall not charge any fee for this training. Franchisee is responsible for its own travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses. Fly To Fit Franchise reserves the right to vary the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of any individual attending the program.
  • (e) Market Introduction Plan. Fly To Fit Franchise shall advise Franchisee regarding the planning and execution of Franchisee's market introduction plan.
  • (f) On-Site Opening Assistance. Fly To Fit Franchise shall have a representative support Franchisee's business opening with one week of onsite opening training and assistance.

5.5 Post-Opening Assistance.

  • (a) Advice, Consulting, and Support. If Franchisee requests, Fly To Fit Franchise will provide advice to Franchisee (by telephone or electronic communication) regarding improving and developing Franchisee's business, and resolving operating problems Franchisee encounters, to the extent Fly To Fit Franchise deems reasonable. If Fly To Fit Franchise provides in-person support in response to Franchisee's request, Fly To Fit Franchise may charge its then-current fee plus any out-of-pocket expenses (such as travel, lodging, and meals for employees providing onsite support).
  • (b) Pricing. Upon request, Fly To Fit Franchise will provide recommended prices for products and services offered by franchisees of the System.
  • (c) Procedures. Fly To Fit Franchise will provide Franchisee with Fly To Fit Franchise's recommended administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, and inventory control procedures. Fly To Fit Franchise may make any such procedures part of required (and not merely recommended) System Standards.
    • (d) Marketing. Fly To Fit Franchise shall manage the Marketing Fund.
  • (e) Internet. Fly To Fit Franchise shall maintain a website for Fly To Fit, which will include Franchisee's location (or territory) and telephone number.

ARTICLE 6. LOCATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND OPENING

6.1 Determining Location and Territory. If the Location and Territory are not stated on the Summary Page:

  • (i) Franchisee shall find a potential Location within the Development Area described on the Summary Page. Franchisee shall submit its proposed Location to Fly To Fit Franchise for acceptance, with all related information Fly To Fit Franchise may request.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly To Fit offers several forms of support to franchisees during their business opening. Fly To Fit will advise franchisees regarding their market introduction plan. Additionally, Fly To Fit will provide one week of on-site opening training and assistance to support the franchisee's business opening.

Prior to opening, Fly To Fit requires the franchisee's Principal Executive to complete the new franchisee training program to Fly To Fit's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening the Business. Franchisees must also notify Fly To Fit at least 30 days before they intend to open to the public.
