. If these or similar laws have been enacted in the state or municipality in which you intend to operate your Fly to Fit center, you will need to comply with these laws, and we urge you to become familiar with them.
There are also state and federal laws and regulations that apply to credit transactions, such as the Federal Truth In Lending Act and Regulation Z, and various other credit related statutes like the Equal Credit Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. These laws and regulations vary from state to state and may affect your operations.
This Item does not include all laws that may apply to your Fly to Fit Business. You should also be aware of pending legislation that may affect your Fly to Fit Business in the future.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are urged to become familiar with any state or municipal laws enacted in their operating area. These laws may pertain to membership contracts, operational licenses, contract lengths, required contract provisions, contract format, and customer termination rights. Some states may also require bonds to protect prepaid membership fees.

Fly To Fit franchisees are responsible for investigating, understanding, and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, regardless of any advice provided by the franchisor. Failure to comply with these laws constitutes a material breach of the Franchise Agreement.
Fly To Fit also strongly urges franchisees to consult with competent local counsel regarding all applicable laws and regulations. Franchisees must obtain and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, certifications, or other indications of authority required to operate their Fly To Fit business. This includes compliance with national, state, and local regulations such as the Americans With Disabilities Act, wage and hour laws, and business licensing requirements. Franchisees must also adhere to laws and regulations related to credit card acceptance, data privacy, and electronic marketing.
