What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must acquire and use all software and related systems required by Fly To Fit. This includes entering into any subscription and support agreements that Fly To Fit may require. Franchisees are also obligated to upgrade, update, or replace any software as directed by Fly To Fit.
Furthermore, Fly To Fit franchisees must protect the confidentiality and security of all software systems and adhere to any System Standards related to them. This means franchisees must take proactive measures to ensure that software systems are not compromised and that sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access or disclosure. The franchisee must also grant Fly To Fit unlimited access to their point of sale system and other software systems used in the business, using means designated by Fly To Fit.
These requirements ensure that Fly To Fit maintains control over the technology used within its franchise system and that consistent standards for data security and confidentiality are upheld across all locations. This is a common practice in franchising, as it helps to protect the brand's reputation and customer data. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these obligations and ensure they have the resources and capabilities to meet these requirements.
