What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are primarily restricted to making sales to retail customers at the physical location of their business. Specifically, Fly To Fit mandates that franchisees offer and sell only those products and services that the company prescribes in its manual or in writing.

Unless Fly To Fit provides explicit approval or requires otherwise, franchisees are prohibited from engaging in sales through alternative channels. These restricted channels include wholesale, delivery services, mail order systems, internet sales, or sales at temporary or satellite locations. This policy ensures that Fly To Fit maintains control over its brand image and customer experience by limiting sales to approved methods and locations.

This restriction has several implications for potential franchisees. It limits their ability to diversify revenue streams beyond the traditional brick-and-mortar model without prior consent from Fly To Fit. Franchisees need to be aware that they cannot independently decide to offer online sales or participate in local events to boost sales unless Fly To Fit approves. This could impact a franchisee's potential revenue and business strategies, especially in changing markets where online sales and delivery services are increasingly important.
