What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to acquire and use all software and related systems that Fly To Fit requires. Furthermore, franchisees must enter into any subscription and support agreements that Fly To Fit may require. This ensures that all franchisees are operating on the same technological platform and receiving the necessary support to maintain system standards.

This requirement means that a prospective Fly To Fit franchisee should factor in the costs associated with these software subscriptions and support agreements when evaluating the financial feasibility of the franchise. These costs are in addition to the initial franchise fee and other startup expenses. The franchisee will also be responsible for upgrading, updating, or replacing any software as required by Fly To Fit, which could lead to additional expenses over time.

Fly To Fit also requires franchisees to protect the confidentiality and security of all software systems and abide by any system standards related to them. Additionally, Fly To Fit is granted unlimited access to the franchisee's point-of-sale system and other software systems used in the business. This level of access allows Fly To Fit to monitor operations, ensure compliance, and potentially provide remote support or updates. Franchisees should be aware of these access rights and ensure their systems are secure.

Overall, these requirements highlight the importance of technology in the Fly To Fit franchise system. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the specific software requirements, subscription costs, and support terms to fully understand their obligations and the ongoing expenses associated with maintaining these systems.
