What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from engaging in any business or activity at the franchised location other than the operation of the Fly To Fit business. This restriction ensures that the franchisee's focus remains solely on developing and promoting the Fly To Fit brand and its associated services. Furthermore, franchisees are not allowed to use the business's assets for any purpose other than the Fly To Fit business.
This restriction extends to the ownership structure of the franchisee entity. If the franchisee is a business entity, that entity is not permitted to own or operate any other business besides Fly To Fit franchises. This clause aims to prevent conflicts of interest and maintain the integrity of the Fly To Fit brand by ensuring that the franchisee's resources and attention are not diverted to other ventures.
These stipulations are common in franchising to protect brand consistency and prevent competition or distraction. A prospective Fly To Fit franchisee should understand that this is a full-time commitment, and they will not be able to operate any other businesses, related or unrelated, from the Fly To Fit location or through the franchisee entity.
