What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly To Fit Franchise must make its standard pre-opening training available to the Principal Executive and up to one additional team member. This training will take place at Fly To Fit Franchise's headquarters or at a Fly To Fit business designated by Fly To Fit Franchise. Fly To Fit Franchise will not charge any fees for this training.
However, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own expenses related to travel, lodging, meals, and any other out-of-pocket costs incurred during the training. Fly To Fit Franchise also retains the right to modify the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending the program.
This means that while the core training is provided without a direct fee, a prospective Fly To Fit franchisee needs to factor in significant indirect costs for themselves and at least one employee to attend the pre-opening training. The flexibility Fly To Fit retains in adjusting the training program also introduces some uncertainty, as the duration and specific content may vary.
