What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly To Fit franchisees are required to acquire and use all software and related systems that Fly To Fit requires. Franchisees must also enter into any subscription and support agreements that Fly To Fit may require.
Fly To Fit franchisees must upgrade, update, or replace any software as Fly To Fit requires. Franchisees must protect the confidentiality and security of all software systems and abide by any System Standards related to them. Fly To Fit is granted unlimited access to the franchisee's point of sale system and other software systems used in the business, by any means designated by Fly To Fit.
This means that as a Fly To Fit franchisee, you must stay current with any software changes or updates that Fly To Fit deems necessary for the operation of your business. This could involve additional costs for new software, subscriptions, or support agreements. It also means you must maintain the security of these systems and allow Fly To Fit access to them. This level of control allows Fly To Fit to maintain consistency and standards across all franchise locations, but it also places the burden of keeping up with technology and security on the franchisee.
