Does Fly To Fit Franchise determine the format of post-opening training programs?

According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly To Fit has the authority to determine the format of post-opening training programs. The FDD states that Fly To Fit may at any time require that the Principal Executive and/or any other employees complete training programs, in any format and in any location determined by Fly To Fit. This gives Fly To Fit broad discretion over the content, method, and location of any post-opening training.

Fly To Fit may also charge a reasonable fee for any training programs. Additionally, Fly To Fit may require the franchisee to provide training programs to its employees. If a training program is held at a location which requires travel by the Principal Executive or any other employee, then the franchisee is responsible for paying all travel, living, and other expenses.

This means that as a Fly To Fit franchisee, you must ensure that you and your employees are available to attend any required training programs, potentially at your own expense. You should budget for these ongoing training costs and be prepared to implement any training programs that Fly To Fit requires you to provide to your own staff.
