What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, an 'Approved Vendor' is defined as a supplier, vendor, or distributor of inputs that has been approved by Fly To Fit. Inputs are any goods, services, supplies, fixtures, equipment, inventory, computer hardware and software, real estate, or comparable items related to establishing or operating the Fly To Fit business.
Fly To Fit may require franchisees to purchase or lease inputs from Fly To Fit, Fly To Fit's designee, required vendors, or approved vendors, and/or under Fly To Fit's specifications. Fly To Fit also retains the right to change these requirements or the status of any vendor by issuing updated System Standards.
If a franchisee wishes to use an alternate vendor that is not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval along with any information, specifications, or samples requested by Fly To Fit. Fly To Fit will then provide written notification of approval or disapproval within 30 days of receiving the request. Fly To Fit may base its approval on criteria such as the vendor's capacity, quality, financial stability, reputation, and reliability, as well as inspections, product testing, and performance reviews.
Fly To Fit also states it will not have any liability to the franchisee for any claim or loss related to any product provided or service performed by any Approved Vendor or Required Vendor, including without limitation defects, delays, or unavailability of products or services.
