Answer from 2024 FDD Document

Your franchise agreement will specify a territory, which will be determined by us. Your territory will have a population of approximately 100,000 to 200,000 people from the location, whichever comes first. Your territory will usually be specified as a radius around your location; however, we may use other boundaries (such as county lines or other political boundaries, streets, geographical features, or trade area).

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement will specify a territory. Fly To Fit determines the territory, which typically includes a population of approximately 100,000 to 200,000 people from the location. The territory is usually specified as a radius around the franchisee's location, but Fly To Fit may use other boundaries such as county lines, political boundaries, streets, geographical features, or trade areas.

If the location and territory are not stated on the Summary Page of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must find a potential location within the Development Area and submit it to Fly To Fit for acceptance. Fly To Fit will issue a Location Acceptance Letter that states the Location and Territory when it accepts the proposed location. If Fly To Fit fails to state the Territory in writing within 60 days after the franchisee opens the business to the public, the Territory will be deemed to be the zip codes which include and immediately surround the location of the franchised business and comprise a total of 200,000 population.

Fly To Fit grants the franchisee the right to operate a Fly To Fit business solely at the specified location and will not establish or license another business within the territory that sells the same or similar goods or services under the same or similar trademarks. However, Fly To Fit retains the right to establish and license others to establish and operate Fly To Fit businesses outside the territory, operate and license businesses anywhere that do not operate under the Fly To Fit brand name, and sell and license others to sell products and services in the territory through other channels of distribution, including the internet.
